1837 Allen & Thurber Pepperbox 6 Shots Revolver, Replica

Decoration gun with mechanism
articulated – NON-FUNCTIONAL –

Faithful replica of a percussion pistol known as the 6-shot pepper-box revolver, or simply pepperbox, from 1837 (Allen & Thurber, Worcester, Massachusetts). This type of multi-barrel firearm was particularly popular in North America from the 1830s until the Civil War and was used by civilians and military officers during the establishment of the frontier. Although primarily associated with the Wild West, it also spread rapidly from the United States to the United Kingdom and even to mainland Europe.

Our reproduction of this iconic western weapon has handle scales made of resin (imitation wood) and metal parts with an antique gunmetal finish. Like the original on which it is based, it features a rotating barrel with 6 magazines and a frame adorned with delicate tendril-shaped engravings.

Our replica firearms are intended exclusively for re-enactment and decorative purposes. Although the mechanism is fully articulated, this reproduction is not capable of firing.

This Western revolver is not only a real gem for gun collectors, history enthusiasts, or fans of Western cinema, but also a must-have accessory or prop for cowboys, bounty hunters, and American Frontier reenactors.
