- Black cotton (Tsuka-Ito) cable wraps apply in traditional type

- Two Menukis were placed on the fists

- The handles are particularly long and fastened to the maximum with 2

bamboo (Mekugi)

- The sheaths (Saya) are made of wood

While researching traditional Chinese weapons near Shanghai, Cold Steel visited a distinguished collector who had an old Wu Jian or a Battle Gim. Their appearance and martial spirit were so unique and impressive that it was justified to reproduce them for Cold Steel customers.

Cold Steel's interpretation of this incredible blade - the Battle Gim - is forged from Cold Steel's best Damascus steel. It features an extra-wide symmetrical point and a super wide and heavy double-edged blade. This provides a more pronounced blade swing, making its sharp twin edges slightly more suitable for cutting and cutting than for thrust.
