The Parabellum pistol or model 1908 (P08), popularly known as Luger, is a semi-automatic pistol operated by the recoil, which survived the restrictions of the Treaty of Versailles. It uses an internal slide, operated by an articulated arm, as opposed to the common external slide in almost all other semi-automatic pistols.
It was designed by Georg Luger in 1898 and produced by the German weapons factory Deutsche WaffenundMunitionsfabriken (DWM) of the year 1900.During years of life luger P08 passed through the hands of several manufacturers, who were responsible for producing more than one million units of this mythical weapon that marked a before and one after in the history of small arms.
While the first models were manufactured in Parabellum caliber 7.65x21, model 1908, it is famous for being the pistol for which the 9x19 Parabellum cartridge was developed. The denomination Parabellum comes from an ancient Latin saying "Su vis pacem, para bellum" ("If you want peace, get ready for war").
The Parabellum Luger pistol became very popular thanks to its use by Germany during World War I and 2nd and was a much coveted pistol by soldiers throughout the 20th century.

Pompeii was one of the later versions. For further analysis, "What the Soldiers Wore on Hadrian's Wal", a book by Russell Robinson can be consulted. In this version of Pompeii the curvature was eliminated and the tip decreased. However, it was just as effective and easy to produce. This Hanwei sword replicates a Dadao used by the Chinese military during the Japanese invasion of China in the pre-World War II era and celebrates a Chinese victory in the battle of the Great Wall, in which the Dadao and Katana were actually pitted against each other.
The sword is sturdily built to handle heavy cuts. The leather handle is representative of the various packaging materials originally used by the ill-equipped Chinese army (many of the handles were simply wrapped with strips of clothing fabric , tied in place).
A leather scabbard is included for safety, although the originals had none.
Delivery also includes a poster-sized canvas print depicting the Defense of the Great Wall.
