The late medieval bacinete is an ideal helmet for a heavily armored medieval knight. It was quite popular among medieval armies due to its versatility and good balance between protection and mobility. Just attach one of our mesh quota aventails (sold separately) to your vervelles and you'll get an ideal combination for your next LARP or reconstitution, offering great looks and protection.
This beautiful historical reproduction is handmade in sturdy soft steel of 14 caliber, lined with a comfortable and secure padded lining. A large circumference makes it fit almost all head sizes.
This versatile blouse has a small frill at the neckline. The split neckline is closed at the front with a ribbon tie. The sleeves are 3/4 and furrowed with lashing. Small slits in the side seams allow greater freedom of movement. The blouse is made of lightweight cotton fabric and has a very comfortable trim.
Historically, blouses should be attributed to the Renaissance and not to the Middle Ages. However, when combined with a skirt and a bodice or a corset belt, they create a beautiful medieval look. They can also be matched very well with a sleeveless or short-sleeved dress.
Late medieval bevor with tip, steel
1.6 mm This wearable reconstruction of a late medieval plate armor for the throat, chin and neck is made of 1.6 mm steel (16 gauge) and blackened on this interior for better corrosion resistance.
The bevor (or beaver) shows the typical multi-layered appearance of Gothic plate armor from the late Middle Ages (15th/16th century). While the throat and chin parts are fixedly riveted to each other, the upper or lame sliding plate is hinged into rivets and can be raised or lowered. When upwards, it reaches below the eyes and provides additional face protection. It is reinforced at the top edge and a row of round cutouts ensures proper ventilation. On the right side of the chin section, a small embossment holds the foldable coxe firmly in position when folded.
On the back, the bevor has a two-part hinged neck protector that opens laterally and closes by attaching it to the throat piece by means of a small pin. The front and back plates form a complete gorget.
This collar is ideal for late medieval and Renaissance environments. Equally suitable for medieval reenactment, LARP, stage, TV/film, costume, it will make your transformation into a proud and noble knight or warrior perfect.

Gokudo Aikuchi, BattleBlades The Sword
Short Aikuchi One of battleblades' best hand-forged swords
The impressive Gokudo Aikuchi is a compact one-hand shirasaya short sword that combines the clean aesthetics of Japanese blade art with absolute performance.
From the first sketch to the forge, the creation of this weapon was a time-consuming task. BattleBlades aimed to forge a perfectly balanced sharp sword with high cutting power and impeccable handling. The sori (blade curvature), the wide motohaba and the extensive kissaki were carefully planned and executed in this process.
Functional short sword, limited series of 99 units, numbered, hand forged in Toledo by the master of the sword of the Blacksmith José Luis Rubio Ureña. It is a sword with blade made of 5.5 mm carbon steel (characteristics of EC6 steel), tempered at 58-60 HrC with edge and tip in accordance with European regulations. The cross and handle are in soft iron, with the end of the dial with the tightening caniquí. The clamp is made of wood and uses the technique of the rocket and lined with hand-stitched leather. The breakeven point is two fingers away from the spider.
