Gorget Gothic, Steel 1.2 mm
This wearable reconstruction of a late medieval plate armor for the throat and neck (or rather for the upper torso) is made of 1.2 mm (18 gauge) steel. The gorges have the multilayered appearance typical of Gothic plate armor from the late Middle Ages (century. XV/XVI). It consists of two parts – one piece for the chest and one for the back, which are hooked on one side and closed with a strap and buckle on the other side. The riveted, approx. The 2mm thick leather strap is adjustable to ensure a comfortable and personalized fit for optimal protection.
The rounded edges of the neck plates are adorned with small steel rivets and grooves in the neckline. The back is blackened for better corrosion resistance.
This collar is ideal for late medieval and Renaissance environments. Equally suitable for the representation of a wide range of historical figures and fictional/fantasy characters, it will make your transformation into a proud and noble knight or warrior perfect, whether used for medieval reenactment, LARP, stage, TV/film, fantasy or cosplay.

The steel used here is not rust-proof and may have slight surface stains in places. We recommend that you maintain plate shielding regularly, for example by using Ballistol Universal Oil, which is ideal for caring for steel.
