The Mammen axe was excavated in a 10th century tomb in Mammen, Jutland, Denmark, and is considered one of the most impressive and beautiful archaeological finds of the Viking Era. This unique piece lent its name to the Viking art style of the same name.
The grave from which the Viking axe was recovered is dated to ca. 970/971 AD and is believed to be the last resting place of a man of high and even princely status. The small iron axe was richly adorned with engravings encrusted with precious metals, leading to the suppose that it may have been a ceremonial or prestigious weapon, rather than a mere battle or throwing axe.
The original piece, as well as many other serious goods and textile remains of the so-called Mammen Find (Danish: Mammenfundet) are on display at the Nationalmuseet in Copenhagen.

Spanish sabre of the spanish army officers. With polished stainless steel ears, engraved and finished according to the official specifications of the Spanish Government.
This blouse, very feminine and sleeveless, is made of cotton fabric and is lightly adapted. The elastic band meets at the cuffs and rounded and ruffled neckline, ensuring a good fit, and small slits at the side seams enhance comfort.
Historically, blouses should be attributed to the Renaissance and not to the Middle Ages. However, when combined with a skirt and a bodice or a corset belt, they create a beautiful medieval appearance. They can also be paired well with a sleeveless or short-sleeved dress.
At the Council of Troyes in 1128, the Order of the Temple was recognized by Pope Honorius II. Knights received the white robe as a symbol of the purity of his life, which Pope Eugenius added to the Red Cross in 1146. King Baldwin II, king of Jerusalem, installed in the Order in an area of the Palace of Jerusalem believed to be the temple of Solomon, who bear the name of the Knights Templar or Templar. Battle orders for the defense of the Holy Land are legendary, as it is still a wealth accumulated mystery losses.

Medieval Round Tent, 5 m diameter, 425 g/m², natural colour
This medieval tent is a low-cost yet spacious and functional tent suitable for military camps, medieval markets or LARP events. It offers ample space for 4 occupants with their belongings and equipment, and with an internal height of approximately 3.5 m in the center, it offers enough headroom even for slender warriors. The rider's tent is adorned with a valance around it. The bottom edge closes with a grass cloth that keeps wind, dirt, and dust out. The separate sidewall only needs to be connected to the ceiling by means of small hooks. The medieval tent can also be used as a canopy by simply leaving the side wall out. We designed the tent without an entrance awning to keep it compact.
The round tent is supplied as a complete set, i.e. with poles and accessories.
Our tents and tarpaulins have already been waterproofed. To maintain/restore the water repellency of your tent or tarpaulin and enjoy its use for a long time, we recommend a regular treatment with a waterproofing spray, e.g. PLUVONIN.

All measurements are approximate and may differ from the actual product supplied. The tents are handmade, which gives them an authentic look on the one hand, but can also result in one or two minor defects on the other hand. Cotton is a natural material that reacts differently depending on various outdoor conditions and can shrink or expand considerably. As a result, the iron poles included in the delivery may not immediately fit into the designated holes. In certain cases, you may need to shorten the posts a bit to size. Do not attempt to stretch the skin of the tent by force, as this increases the risk of the tarp tearing or the stitches breaking.
Important information about the assembly, handling and maintenance of our historic tents:
You can extend the life of your Viking tent, Roman tent, Saxon tent, Knights tent, medieval tent, commercial tent or medieval market stalland enjoy its use for a longer time by observing the following precautions:
Do not overstretch the ropes, as natural materials such as wood or cotton change under the influence of air humidity and need room to contract and expand. You can prevent, for example, the roof holes for the poles from being distended and ultimately making it easier for water to enter. We recommend loosening the ropes slightly at night, as the humidity in the air increases considerably at night and can increase the risk of excessive strain on your tent. The ropes should also be loosened a little in the rain or in high atmospheric humidity. If the tent has been exposed to moisture, we strongly recommend that you dry it after use, as otherwise it is likely to mold. Do not use, under any circumstances, detergents or any other cleaning products to clean your tent. The best way to remove dried dirt is to use a brush. As for storing your tent for a long period of time, separate all accessories (stakes, ropes, etc.) from the tent itself and preferably pack everything separately. Make sure all items are dry and stored in a dry place.
King Richard's Lionheart Sword, Marto
The traditional image of Richard the Lionheart, the second Plantagenet king of England, has come to us over the centuries as a glorious crusader and knight. Captured by the Austrian emperor, he was later rescued by the young troubadour Blondel, who discovered Richard while singing a famous ballad.
