The battle is about to begin. Your squad is called to the front, and as you calmly take your place on the front line, you know, as you hold your deadly sword, that your old gauntlets won't let any impact hit your hands.

Their sleek appearance and mobility have made them one of our most popular medieval armor pieces for years, highly appreciated in LARP and reenactments. Not surprisingly, they are based on the cushier gauntlets of the 16th to 17th centuries, known to provide freedom of movement in combat.

Looking for some historically-inspired gauntlets that can enhance your fourteenth-century reenactment costumes? Then these hourglass gauntlets, with their elegant shape and historical motifs, are undoubtedly the most suitable option for you. Among all our gauntlets, they are one of those pieces of armor that offer a wide range of motion and maximum mobility to the wrist, thanks to the wide cuffs typical of the time. It is not surprising that they were directly inspired by an original from the second half of the fourteenth century, currently exhibited in Florence (Italy).

Meticulously handmade in 16-gauge mild steel, they are sturdy and will last many battles. They fasten with sturdy leather straps and solid brass buckles. For added comfort and grip, they are supplied with suede gloves. Its total length is approximately 27 cm (from the tip of the middle finger to the lowest tip of the gauntlet). It comes in one size fits all.
