Our medieval brigandine is the perfect accessory for your next LARP costume or for your next cosplay fair or medieval event. This style of arrangement of riveted steel plates on the interior is quite unusual, but not unheard of. We decided to base our brigandine loosely on an existing statue of the Sleeping Guard from a reliquary in the Wienhausen Monastery. c. 1270 currently on display at the Provincial Museum, Hanover.

This statue shows the same type of plate arrangement for the upper torso, but we decided to add spaulders to protect the soldier's arm, making it a perfect wardrobe piece for any frontline combatant. And when you want to add maximum hit points in your next LARP, you can easily pair it with a gambeson, chainmail, and brigandine itself with a nice belt for a stunning look!

Between the two well-crafted layers of ROBUST CANVAS COTTON are tightly riveted steel plates, which enrich its performance as a large defensive clothing armor. It comes in three sizes; Its detailed version is available in the size chart well framed with the photographs.

The piece of Roman military equipment known as the cingulum militare was a leather belt adorned with ornamental metal plates and often fitted with frogs (hanging mounts) for the soldier's dagger. This war belt was not only used to hold the warrior's braccae (pants) during battle, but it was also a display of rank or military honors.

The cingulate was usually completed by a leather apron consisting of several flat straps (so-called pterygians or pteruges) hanging from the belt and decorated with continuous rows of riveted metal fittings. Each bracelet ended with metal pendants (pensilia).

The richly adorned Roman cingulate or balteus that we offer here is best suited for the late 1st century portrait of a legionary. The riveted rectangular belt plates (approx. 8.5 x 5 cm) are made of thin-leaf brass and engraved with alternating motifs of a human face and the famous Roman she-wolf or magnifying glass nursing the twins Romulus and Remus (recorded in Roman mythology as the founders of the city of Rome). The articulated buckle and pugio frogs are also made of brass.

The belt itself is made of sturdy 3mm leather. It has holes and is adjustable to a wide range of sizes. A leather cord for tying and attaching a dagger to the twin buds (pugio frogs) is included in delivery. The apron consists of 4 leather straps, each of which is adorned with a brass pendant and 8 brass medallions.

There is no doubt about the iconic status of the Colt Single Action Army Revolver of 1873 (M1873, also known as SAA,  Peacemaker, or simply Colt .45). Developed from a patent by Samuel Colt, this cartridge revolver was a robust pistol with a closed frame, a rotating cylinder for 6 bullets, and an ejector situated on the right side. Along with the Winchester carbine, almost no firearm better symbolizes the Wild West: the Colt SAA. This true piece of Americana was produced in a wide variety of barrel lengths, but its overall appearance has remained consistent since its introduction.

Our very well done reproduction of this world-renowned Western weapon is the compact version, called the snub with an extra short barrel (2.5 in. / approx. 6.4 cm). It has cable scales made of resin (imitation wood) and metal parts with an antique gunmetal finish. Just like the original, it is equipped with a 6-shot spinning cylinder that spins even more by hitting the hammer, and can be loaded with the included dummy rounds. The bullets are fed through a revolving gate on the side.

Our replica firearms are intended exclusively for re-enactment and decorative purposes. Although the mechanism is fully articulated, this reproduction is not capable of firing.
