Wetterhall 1.6 Premium Axe, Hultafors
This type of double-drill axe was originally used by lumberjacks, who benefited from the possibility of always having a sharp axe nearby. By using one edge for tough work, they can be more careful with the other. Today it is mainly employed in throwing competitions among enthusiasts. The axe is hand-forged and made of Swedish-quality steel in the forge at Hults Bruk.
The forging tradition dates back to 1697. This axe was named after Bo Wetterhall, the man who served longer than anyone at Hults Bruk. Take care of your axe and it will remain a faithful companion for many years to come. Thanks to the quality and craftsmanship of this axe, we offer you a full lifetime warranty on the axe head.
