The tunic or tabard (also surcote, German: Waffenrock or Waffenkleid) emerged in the twelfth century and was worn by knights over their plate armor or chainmail. It was primarily designed to protect its wearer from direct sunlight on the battlefield, and the various color combinations were a decisive means of distinguishing brothers-in-arms from foes in the fray. Numerous illustrations testify to the prevalence of such knightly tunics in the Middle Ages, for example, paintings from the Morgan's Bible (also known as the Maciejowski Bible or Crusader Bible), a medieval illustrated bible from the thirteenth century and miniatures of the Codex Manesse. , an illuminated manuscript of songs from the early fourteenth century.
A characteristic of the trench coat is its simple and straight cut. For an authentic look, we recommend pairing the tunic with a leather belt.

Scandinavian sword of the period of the vendors with brass fist, incl. Sheath
The eldest son of Denethor, the steward of Gondor, T.M. Boromir™ was a prince in all but name: he was implanted in a noble house and heir apparent to a ruling tradition that spanned a thousand years. Boromir was a proud and strong man who was regarded by his fellow soldiers as one of the most skilled swordsmen in Gondor. He triumphed as a captain in the Gondorian army while leading the forces against SauronTM at Osgiliath, where he deterred a mob of OrcsTM who had invaded the ancient capital. Following a powerful dream that Boromir shared with his brother Faramir, Boromir's father ordered his son to ride north as an ambassador from Gondor to join the Council of Elrond.TM. He later agreed to join the Brotherhood in their mission to destroy "The One Ring.TM" In a single moment of weakness, Boromir attempted to take the Ring of Frodo, TM which in turn would lead to his death as he single-handedly defended hobbits, Merry and Pippin, from the hands of Saruman TM Uruk-haiTM before falling under a hail of arrows. Boromir's sword was single-handed, large, broad, and powerful—a complementary fit to its owner. To use it required someone with great strength, which this skilled warrior possessed abundantly.
The flattened diamond shape of the blade and the equally fuller width reduced weight but maintained the strength at the edge of the blade stopping just below the tip. It was equally effective for attacking lightly armored opponents and for pushing back more heavily protected enemies. The guard, similar to his father's sword, showed the flourishing of a warrior in that it was formed from a square-edged piece of steel that had been twisted before being curved into a crescent. The hilt was wide like the blade, and the pommel was an elegant and simple piece of steel that added weight to balance the blade.
The piece of Roman military equipment known as the cingulum militare was a leather belt adorned with ornamental metal plates and often equipped with frogs (hanging devices) for the soldier's dagger. This war belt was not only used to hold the warrior's braccae (pants) during battle, but it was also a demonstration of military rank or honor.
The Roman cingulate we offer here is based on a discovery dating from the first half of the 1st century AD and made at the archaeological site of Rheingönheim (Ludwigshafen, Germany), a Roman auxiliary fort or castrum located on the Rhine River. Although cingulate belts were usually completed by a leather apron consisting of several narrow straps (so-called pterygians or pteruges) decorated with metal fittings, the original artifact was found without an apron.
The hinged buckle, pugio frogs, and decorative plates are all made of tinned brass. The belt itself is made of sturdy 3mm leather and backed with a second suede lining to protect the wearer's tunic from the rivets that hold back the metal plates. It has holes and is adjustable to a wide range of sizes. A leather cord for tying and attaching a dagger to the double buttons is included in delivery.
An ideal accessory for Roman reenactment. LARP, stage or TV/film, this beautiful Roman belt will make your transformation into a proud warrior simply perfect.

The kilt, the most famous garment of Scottish Highlanders, is a knee-length skirt (usually in a plaid pattern) worn exclusively by men.
Our kilt is an 8 yard kilt and therefore swings well. A particularly noteworthy quality feature is the perfectly arranged pleats at the back. The front is double, like a wraparound skirt, and fastened at the waist with leather straps and buckles. The kilt does not have a hem, but it does have a traditional kilt selvedge.
A shirt, socks (knee-high socks), and matching accessories—kilt pin, Sporran (kilt bag), and wide leather belt—perfectly complete the Highlander look.
