This elaborately crafted leather belt is made from thick vegetable-tanned buffalo leather (grained leather). Its surface and edges are polished and given a light-coloured finish, giving the leather its characteristic worn look.
This impressive belt is made up of three individual belts that run through a wide centerpiece. The three narrow belts are decorated with a delicate braided pattern and fastened with brass-coloured buckles on the back. The wide centerpiece is engraved with a Nordic knot motif and adorned with dragon-shaped brass fittings. A sturdy stitching made of sturdy leather frames the centrepiece, giving the belt extra character and durability.
This belt can be used by both men and women. It gives any warrior a magnificent appearance.

In his shikai, all of the Sode no Shirayuki becomes snow-white, including the blade and handle. The tsuba becomes a compass and the pommel becomes a white ribbon. Since its release, Sode no Shirayuki has been considered the most beautiful zanpakutō in Soul Society. The weapon can control ice, almost like Tōshirō Hitsugaya's Hyōrinmaru, but is used in a different way. Like Kaname Tōsen's Suzumushi and Kisuke Urahara's Benihime, Sode no Shirayuki has more than one ability.
Sode no Shirayuki's abilities are described by Rukia as "dance". With the command "First Dance, White Moon", Rukia can create a magic circle around her target and freeze everything in that circle, from the ground to the sky. With the command "Next dance, white wave" a huge wave of ice is shot from the blade. With the final command "Third Dance, White Sword", Rukia can reforge the sword with ice particles if it is damaged and cut objects in its path. Once the target is pierced by the ice particles, it freezes all other objects, including the battlefield.
