This loose-cut medieval dress is made of strong canvas (100% cotton) and therefore very sturdy. All hems are lined with flat fabric. The sewn skirt piece features partition seams that make it wider and fit well. Side folds/darts positioned at chest level provide an optimal fit. The dress up to the floor can also serve as an outerwear or a sweater.

With its sturdy structure, the medieval dress is particularly suitable for portraying women of ordinary lifestyles. Just like jeans, the fabric will look individual "worn" over time. And as it is a little thicker, the dress is ideal for the transitional seasons (spring / autumn). Pair it with a Viking apron dress/overdress (smokkr) or just a simple apron and you'll have a good basic outfit that can be animated at will with season-appropriate accessories.
