It's approx. 33 cm (13 in.) long, is approx. Edges 18 cm (7 in.) long and is reinforced with a distinct, elevated protrusion along the blade axis for greater stiffness and greater drilling power. It comes with two pre-drilled holes that allow it to be fixed on the wooden stick of your choice to create your own medieval spear. Additional cable and mounting hardware are not included in the delivery.
Alternatively, collectors can purchase our wooden spearhead stand (available separately, product no. 1816375000) to display their treasures in style in their arsenal.
Please note that this spearhead is designed primarily as a decoration piece or collectible accessory and in no way suitable for combat reenactment! The blade tip is not rounded and the edges are not sharp, but slightly ground (with proper equipment and the necessary knowledge and skills, they can be sharpened if necessary).

Hanwei's Kami Wakizashi has a K120C powdered steel blade forged and folded by hand with a hand-engraved Horimono "Fudo" and Bo-Hi. The folding process creates exceptional hada, or grain pattern, along the blade and is accented by the distinct hamon.
This sword is a design according to oakeshott typology, Type X, with a Type I button and a Type VII protector. Oakeshott's typology was created by historian and illustrator Ewart Oakeshott as a way to define and catalog the medieval sword based on physical form. Classify the swords of the European Middle Ages (11th to 15th centuries) into 13 main types labeled from X to XXII. Oakeshott introduced in his treatise "Archaeology of Weapons: Weapons and Armor from Prehistory to the Age of Chivalry in 1960". It is a continuation of Jan Petersen's type of Viking sword, introduced in De Norske Vikingsverd ("The Norwegian Viking Swords," 1919), as amended in 1927 by REM Wheeler in a typology of nine types labeled I to IX.
