Castleford/Valkenburg These high-quality Roman sandals are based on finds from Castleford (UK) and Valkenburg (NL). The Caliga was the footwear of the Roman soldier on the march.

These shoes are elaborately made of vegetable tanned leather. The soles have 7 mm long steel studs.

All vegetable tanned leather shoes should be oiled or waxed before use, and occasionally on the outside to keep them supple and supple.
