Versatile summer tunic made of lightweight cotton fabric.
The round neckline has a slit in the center of the front. The slit can be used open as desired or closed with a fibula. Slits at the side seams increase freedom of movement.
The simple cut is based on finds from the early and early Middle Ages.
It can be worn as an upper or lower garment. Worn as underwear, it protects the outer garment from sweat, so this simple tunic is also called a body shirt. We particularly recommend the tunic as underwear for woollen garments, so that rough wool cannot be felt directly on the skin. In summer, the tunic is ideal for wearing the outer garment.
