This beautiful Gallic helmet is an ideal choice for anyone looking for a high-quality, authentic, and affordable helmet. This carefully handmade Celtic helmet offers excellent value for money and is an ideal addition to any Roman armor.

The historical original dates back to the 1st century BC and was found at the archaeological site of Alesia, now Alise-Sainte-Reine, in the Côte-d'Or department of France. The site became famous for the Battle of Alesia in 52 BC, in which Julius Caesar defeated Gallic troops under the command of Vercingetorix.

This detailed replica is made of 1.2mm steel. A special feature of this helmet is the decorative lines around the skull and the narrow brim, which is slightly flared at the back to form a neck protector. In addition, a semicircular groove runs along this section for additional details. The cheek pads are secured with two rivets. The edges of the helmet are wrapped around and the interior is blackened for better corrosion resistance. Delivery also includes a padded lid to ensure a secure fit and added comfort.

Suitable for re-enactment, LARP, stage or TV/film, this wearable helmet is best suited for ancient scenarios and will make your transformation into a perfect Celtic warrior or Roman legionnaire. Of course, it will also be a great addition to any helmet collector's treasure chamber.

Specifications may vary slightly from part to part.

The steel used here is not rust-proof and may have slight surface stains in places. We recommend that you regularly maintain helmets (and armor) in general, for example by using Ballistol Universal Oil, which is ideal for steel care.
