A special feature of this helmet is the decorative lines around the skull and the narrow brim, which is slightly flared at the back to form a neck protector. In addition, a semicircular groove runs along this section for additional details. The cheek pads are secured with two rivets. The edges of the helmet are wrapped around and the interior is blackened for better corrosion resistance. Delivery also includes a padded lid to ensure a secure fit and added comfort.
Suitable for re-enactment, LARP, stage or TV/film, this wearable helmet is best suited for ancient scenarios and will make your transformation into a perfect Celtic warrior or Roman legionnaire. Of course, it will also be a great addition to any helmet collector's treasure chamber.

Gambeson with buckles, coloured
natural
A gambeson is practically indispensable for medieval reenactments and fights. Also called aketon, padded monkey, or arming doublet, gambeson was usually worn underneath plate armor and chainmail. This made these steel armors more comfortable to wear and could absorb enemy blows, thus reducing the risk of injury.
This gambeson from Ulfberth consists of four layers of fabric: an outer layer of cotton canvas, two layers of wool padding, and a soft layer of cotton lining.
Material:
- Outer material: canvas
100% cotton - Lining: 100% cotton
- Filling (padding): 100% wool
- Color: natural (also available: black)
- Collar height: approx. 5 cm
