French Dagger Pistol, 18th Century, Replica
Replica of a French dagger gun from the 18th century. As the name implies, it is a dagger with a flint gun mounted in its center. This combination of dagger or knife and pocket pistol was already a strangeness that was quite custom-made. In the Age of Candle, pistol daggers/pistol knives were used by marine forces and pirates. Their dual role as a firearm and sharp maline weapon made them particularly useful in close-range combat.
