These versatile slip-on pants made of lightweight cotton fabric are part of the basic outfit in summer and therefore in every wardrobe. It has a loose fit, is equipped with side pockets and is knee-length. The width can be adjusted with cuffs on the knee. The attached waistband is finished with a drawstring and can be adjusted individually.

As winter approached and the Viking nights became longer and darker again, it was time to get ready. After long raids in search of food and riches, the men returned to their villages to spend the winter and spread the story of their triumphs.

Even the Vikings of that time had to warm up enough, as we know it today, to avoid falling victim to the cold.
But what options did they have?

Animal skin, which today is more of a decorative accessory found on the ground, was a very popular feature in medieval times. Especially in winter, the skins were probably a warming wonder. But even when the days got longer and the sun appeared more often, the skins could still be used, for example, as a seat cushion to make a chair or bench more comfortable.

This shoulder skin is perfect for getting closer to a wild warrior or a brave Viking. Whether it's a Viking festival or a medieval market, with this shoulder skin no cold will get in the way.

As our skins are natural products, small variations in color, length or size of hair are completely normal. They are untreated and therefore free of chemicals. Due to the adapted shape of the shoulders and neck, there are no folds and the hair does not protrude. So nothing stops the next big event!

The Roman army sought a direct and pragmatic approach to warfare. The Gladius was chosen as the main weapon, as it is practical and efficient and excels in any hand-to-hand combat situation. With this sword they conquered most of the then known world. The original examples of this replica were excavated from the ruins of Pompeii. Examples can be found in the book "What The Soldiers Wore On Hadrian's Wall", by H. Russell Robinson.

The early Gladius, like this version based on the Maintz pattern, had a wasp-like waist and a long tip that combined slashing and stabbing capabilities into a useful weapon . This replica based on the Maintz pattern has a bone cuff with ornate brass applications on the hem. Made from high carbon steel by Windlass Steelcrafts and comes factory sharpened.

Includes matching wooden sheath with leather cover and brass applications.
