Hood Medieval cap smooth, natural color
This medieval cap (also: coiffe) made of a simple cotton fabric is placed loosely on the head.
The caps were already worn in the 12th century, as evidenced by numerous contemporary illustrations. In the European Middle Ages, the use of headgear was common and the type of headgear we offer here not only covered the heads of children, women and men of the lower classes, but was also worn (padded) by warriors under a knitted quota cap or helmet.
