The overcoat or tabardo (also surcote , German: Wappenrock , Waffenrock or Waffenkleid ) appeared in the 12th century and was worn by the knights on their armor or mesh quota. It was designed primarily to protect your user from direct sunlight on the battlefield, and the various color combinations were a decisive means of distinguishing brothers in arms from enemies in the fray. During the Crusades, many knights used tababards to identify themselves as crusaders.
Numerous illustrations testify to the prevalence of such knight robes in the Middle Ages, for example paintings from Morgan's Bible (also known as the Maciejowski Bible or Crusader Bible), a medieval illustrated 13th-century Bible, and miniatures of the Codex Manesse, an illuminated manuscript of early 14th-century songs.
A feature of the cover is its simple and straight cut. For an authentic look, we recommend combining the tunic with a leather belt.

Usually made from cattle or goat horn and used as a drinking vessel in many cultures at different time periods, the drinking horn had great significance, especially for ceremonies. It continued in service until the early modern period, especially throughout Germanic Europe. A particularly popular drinking container during the early Middle Ages in Scandinavia, it was mentioned in both the Prose Edda and the Poetic Edda. Although horn fragments from the Viking Age are rarely recovered in archaeological excavations, the number of preserved metal horn fittings leads to the assumption that their use was much more widespread than actual horn finds indicate.
This Viking horn is handmade in horn, polished, and adorned with a carved motif of two intertwined ravens. In Norse mythology, the two ravens Hugin and Munin (or As the horn is an organic product, natural variations in color, shape, size, weight, and volume are expected.

The Corinthian helmet originated in ancient Greece and took its name from the city-state of Corinth. It was a helmet made of bronze that in its last styles covered the entire head and neck, with openings for the eyes and mouth. A large curved projection protected the nape of the neck.
Out of combat, a Greek hoplite wore the helmet tilted for comfort. This practice resulted in a number of different designs in Italy, where the cracks were almost closed. Although the classic Corinthian helmet was out of use among the Greeks in favor of the more open ones, the Italian-Corinthian designs remained in use until the first century AD.
This helmet is a replica of the original "Wencelas", dating from the 10th century.
It is made of steel with 2mm thickness and reinforced in the nasal.
Includes adjustment straps, leather.
Sizes available:
M: up to 62 cm head circumference
Weight: from 2.15 to 2.55kg
Our reproduction is directly inspired by an original found in a tenth-century Slavic-Varghian settlement called Gnezdovo or Gnyozdovo, near Smolensk, in present-day Russia. Many typical Scandinavian objects have been found simultaneously with this helmet, making it a good choice for those who want to recreate a Viking/Varangian/Russian/East Slavic character. However, this helmet may not be suitable if it depicts a western Viking invading England.
This helmet is HANDMADE from 1.6mm mild steel (16 gauge) and lined with an adjustable genuine leather lining. From it hangs a riveted chain mail that protects the lower part of the face. An approximate circumference of 68 cm (unlined) (65 cm with liner) allows it to fit most head circumferences from about 58 cm to 61-62 cm, depending on the shape of the user's head. (If you want to wear an extra padded hat, measure the circumference of your head while wearing it.) A genuine leather chin strap, with solid brass buckle, keeps it in place battle after battle. It has a height of about 25.5 cm (without an aventail), the inner width at the level of the ears is about 21 cm, and the inner depth from front to back at eye level is about 24.5 cm. It weighs about 4 kg and 12 grams.
Note: This product is carefully coated with a layer of oil when packaged that acts as a temporary (protective) layer against corrosion (rust), which can be easily cleaned with any degreasing product or even with a dry cloth.
Templars or Order of the Temple was one of the most famous Christian military orders.
German Bascinet, medieval helmet with hinged visor, ca. 1370, steel
2 mm bascinet appeared in the early 14th century. It evolved from the so-called cervelliere or secret helmet (a simple skull hat) and remained a popular helmet until the 15th century throughout Central Europe.
The late Middle Ages, battle-ready helmet with visor that we offer here is a replica of an original bascinet from the 14th century (ca. 1370 AD) that is on display for people to admire at the German Historical Museum (Deutsches Historisches Museum or DHM) in Berlin, Germany.
It is made of 2mm steel and equipped with a riveted face shield that is hinged into a single point in the center of the eyebrow. Especially in the 14th century. Germany and northern Italy, this particular type of center-hinged visor has enjoyed great popularity. The visor has an eye slit approximately 16 cm long and 1 cm wide, as well as several round cutouts on the right side for proper ventilation. The sides and lower edge of the helmet bowl are studded with so-called vervelles that allow the addition of a chainmail, aventail or camail (not included).
The blacked-out interior is equipped with an adjustable lining made of thcik cotton fabric and attached to the edge of the bowl with sturdy stitches. The 2 mm thick leather chin strap is adjustable and closes with a brass buckle. The helmet is also equipped with another leather strap to secure the klappvisor when in the lowered position.
This slim and fully wearable knight helmet will make your transformation into a proud knight simply seamless. Of course, it will also make a great decorative addition to any helmet collector's treasure chamber.
