This set of medieval poleyns is meticulously handmade in sturdy soft steel of 16 caliber (also available in soft steel of 18 caliber). The back of the poleyns knees is covered with black suede, riveted to the armor using 9 rivets at the top and bottom edges, which ensures greater comfort and protection. The handles are made of approx. 3 mm thick bovine leather can be adjusted using sturdy iron buckles.

This Viking Age knife features a sharp high-carbon steel blade. The wooden handle ends on both sides with bone and brass rings. It has an oval cross section that ensures a solid grip to the knife. The brass cover is equipped with a convenient drawstring hole (the leather drawstring is included in the delivery).
The beautiful leather hem with brass period accessories is equipped with three brass rings and belt straps for typical Viking-style horizontal transport. The bows are adorned with stylized animal-shaped heads, modeled on finds by Björkö / Birka, Sweden.

This Hanwei sword replicates a Dadao used by the Chinese military during the Japanese invasion of China in the pre-World War II era and celebrates a Chinese victory in the battle of the Great Wall, in which the Dadao and Katana were actually pitted against each other.
The sword is sturdily built to handle heavy cuts. The leather handle is representative of the various packaging materials originally used by the ill-equipped Chinese army (many of the handles were simply wrapped with strips of clothing fabric , tied in place).
A leather scabbard is included for safety, although the originals had none.
Delivery also includes a poster-sized canvas print depicting the Defense of the Great Wall.

This high-quality leather belt is made of thick buffalo leather (approx. 3.5mm grain leather) and vegetable tanned.
It is supplied without a buckle and can therefore be customized as a way to put together your own individual look. The surface and edges of the belt are elaborately polished and given a light-colored finish, giving the leather its characteristic appearance of use.
The length of the strap is 120 cm and can be individually shortened at the rear end. To do this, loosen the screws, cut to the desired length, and drill new holes. Once everything is reassembled, snap it on with a belt buckle and reattach with the screws. (The following is required for this job: screwdriver, cutter, awl, belt buckle).
The holes on the front end of the belt are pre-drilled and you can find several buckle variations for this 4 cm wide belt in our store.
This belt can be used by both men and women. So, whether as a Viking, pirate, or simply in everyday life, this belt can be used for many different looks.

In the Roman army, all soldiers - from low ranks to centurions - carried their gládio across their shoulders using a baldric.
This Roman baldric is made of approx. 3 mm thick leather. It features authentic brass fittings based on archaeological finds of the Roman fort (fort/camp) of Zugmantel (Germany).
