These battle-ready weapons may not have the shiny blades and polished silver steel of Cold Steel's cutting-edge weapons, but they are quite similar in quality and performance. The fully sharp and bluish blades have a distinctive metal finish that complements the handles. And when well lubricated, they are incredibly beautiful by themselves. The Man at Arms collection features a selection of some of Cold Steel's finest blades, but at a considerably reduced price. If you ever wanted a Cold Steel piece but couldn't afford one, this collection was made for you.
Lance Point is (as its name suggests) a formidable weapon whenused on horseback. Historically, it was used by German, French, British and Indian cavalry troops and could drill armor and transfix adversaries with ease. Throughout their research and development tests, Cold Steel team members were consistently surprised by the penetrating power of Lance Point's spring-tempered triangular blade. Punching hard targets with the slightest effort and inflicting a devastating entry wound, it was fast, alive in hand and incredibly effective if used on horseback, on foot or even thrown at appropriate targets!

Our elaborately crafted velvet jacket has a fair cut and is lined with lightweight cotton fabric. All seams are reinforced with cotton ribbon and the added bottom hem has several slits for a comfortable fit that is particularly flattering for the hips.
The jacket has several loops (in the center of the front, at the side seams, at the fold of the arm and on the shoulders) that allow an individual and personalized fit to the body. The sleeves are fully detachable – just untie the top laces and the jacket turns into bodice or bodice. We recommend opening only the central front shoelace, so you can slide and pass the shoelaces to close.
The piece of Roman military equipment known as the cingulum militare was a leather belt adorned with ornamental metal plates and often fitted with frogs (hanging mounts) for the soldier's dagger. This war belt was not only used to hold the warrior's braccae (pants) during battle, but it was also a display of rank or military honors.
The cingulate was usually completed by a leather apron consisting of several flat straps (so-called pterygians or pteruges) hanging from the belt and decorated with continuous rows of riveted metal fittings. Each bracelet ended with metal pendants (pensilia).
The richly adorned Roman cingulate or balteus that we offer here is best suited for the late 1st century portrait of a legionary. The riveted rectangular belt plates (approx. 8.5 x 5 cm) are made of thin-leaf brass and engraved with alternating motifs of a human face and the famous Roman she-wolf or magnifying glass nursing the twins Romulus and Remus (recorded in Roman mythology as the founders of the city of Rome). The articulated buckle and pugio frogs are also made of brass.
The belt itself is made of sturdy 3mm leather. It has holes and is adjustable to a wide range of sizes. A leather cord for tying and attaching a dagger to the twin buds (pugio frogs) is included in delivery. The apron consists of 4 leather straps, each of which is adorned with a brass pendant and 8 brass medallions.
An ideal accessory for Roman reenactment. LARP, stage or TV/film, this beautiful Roman belt will make your transformation into a proud warrior simply perfect.
The Seax, or Sax, is a weapon that has been carried by most people so far in northern Europe. Loaded and used by the Anglo-Saxons, Vikings and German tribes, their first use probably dates from before the fall of Rome and continued until the early Middle Ages. The Seax pattern varied greatly from the small 7- and 10 cm-long blade knife to the royal swords from 68 to 71 cm, but always from a single end. The original version of this large knife was used as much as field work, such as cutting work, on board the ship and to combat whether the sword or axe were not available.
This beautiful late medieval dagger has a spring steel blade that is fully tainted and riveted in the handle. The elegant steel cross-protection bends smoothly in the direction of the blade and features a so-called ecusson (a Cusp or V-shaped bulge in the center). The all-metal handle is smothered in leather in its upper half and covered with a sturdy disc-shaped steel apple (or wheel pommel). Delivery includes a leather hem with belt clip.
This chain neck and shoulder cabinet, also called bishop's mantle, is made of steel rings with high carbon coated, zinc, 4-in-1 fabrics.
The leaf-shaped spearhead was a recurring drawing throughout the history of the spear. Used for hunting and war already in the Bronze Age, it came in the most varied styles in many eras and cultures - from celts to ancient Romans and Greeks to vikings - and continued to serve to the middle. Ages.

The original of this sword or falchion of English infantry from the late fifteenth century has been in the Royal Armouries collection since 1916 (object number IX.144.). Its exact origin before this time is unknown.
This type of short sword was a popular weapon for collectors and archers during the War of the Roses and early Tudor period. Thousands of these swords were used in battles such as Towton, Barnet, Tewkesbury and Bosworth.
This example has a single-edged blade with subtle transitions along the cross section, a smart hollow grinding, and a fuller one. The graceful blade has a slender but strong tip and a thick spine that can withstand the rigors of combat against armored opponents in monkeys, mesh dimensions and plates.
