This ceremonial sword of King Sancho IV "El Bravo", dates from 1284 when he reigned in Castile - León and Galicia, Spain. The original sword is on display at the Museum of Tapestries and Textiles of the Primate Cathedral of Toledo, Spain.

This replica made by the master craftsmen of Windlass, has a 1065 high carbon steel blade with 49-52 RC. Total tangent and tempered perfectly to withstand the blows of battle. Shallow channel along the blade to provide additional force. The cast iron button trim and solid brass protection have an aged finish. The handle is made of wood with various cloisonne-style shells, honeycomb-shaped enamel, carved and hand painted.

It comes with a beautiful brown leather hem with brass details and a belt made of heavy cotton fabric and fabric with gold threads. An impressive piece of spanish royalty history.
