These shoes were worn between 1200 and 1500 AD, mainly by women and nobles. They are modeled on archaeological finds in Schleswig and Constance, Germany.
Shoes are available in various sizes. These are European standards, but the shape of the shoes is quite narrow, especially on the toes. If you happen to have wider feet or just prefer slightly wider shoes, we recommend that you increase a size.

The piece of Roman military equipment known as the cingulum militare was a leather belt adorned with ornamental metal plates and often equipped with frogs (hanging devices) for the soldier's dagger. This war belt was not only used to hold the warrior's braccae (pants) during battle, but it was also a demonstration of military rank or honor.
The Roman cingulate we offer here is based on a discovery dating from the first half of the 1st century AD and made at the archaeological site of Rheingönheim (Ludwigshafen, Germany), a Roman auxiliary fort or castrum located on the Rhine River. Although cingulate belts were usually completed by a leather apron consisting of several narrow straps (so-called pterygians or pteruges) decorated with metal fittings, the original artifact was found without an apron.
The hinged buckle, pugio frogs, and decorative plates are all made of tinned brass. The belt itself is made of sturdy 3mm leather and backed with a second suede lining to protect the wearer's tunic from the rivets that hold back the metal plates. It has holes and is adjustable to a wide range of sizes. A leather cord for tying and attaching a dagger to the double buttons is included in delivery.

A skunk is almost indispensable for exhibition and free combat. Gambesan, also called gambison, armored doublet, or aketon, was worn underneath plate armor and chainmail in the Middle Ages. It increased the comfort of wearing steel armor and could also cushion the blows of enemies, thus reducing the risk of injury.
This gambeson from Ulfberth is made of three layers of fabric: an outer layer of cotton (canvas), a layer of polyester filling/filling and an inner lining of cotton. The padding on the upper body is diamond-shaped and on the hip area and arms the padding is vertical. The gambeson has laces at the neckline and side seams and is pulled over the head.
