Sculpted to fit the body and add structural strength to steel, this riveted piece of steel has been treated with Epic Dark Metal coating from Epic Armoury to give the armor an old, sturdy finish.
At the bottom edge, the plate has a small flange to deflect blows from the lower body.
The Dark Warrior Backplate is style neutral and fully usable with other Epic Armory metal products, giving you the freedom to customize your character's costume.
Made of 1 mm thick galvanized soft steel and top grain leather straps and accessories, this armor piece is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reconstitution with regular leather and metal armor.

These robust and elaborate arm guards provide protection and support to the forearms. They are composed of a 2 mm thick outer shell made of high-quality vegetable-tanned leather and a 2 mm soft suede lining with padded material for added comfort and enhanced impact cushioning. This beautiful Viking Sword is based on an original sword that was part of the great tomb of Vestre Berg in Løiten/Løten, Norway. According to archaeological records, the grave was discovered in 1887 among some rocks during cleaning work. A distinctive feature of the original, which dates back to the tenth century, is the blade, which was presumably ritually bent into an "S" shape. It is not known if this practice was intended to symbolically "kill" the sword before it was buried, or if the purpose was to deter grave robbers. The sword, classified as Type O according to Petersen's Viking sword typology, is now in the collection of the Kulturhistorisk Museum (formerly Universitetets Oldsaksamling) in Oslo, Norway.
The replica features a wide, double-edged blade with wide, fuller, and unsharp cutting edges. The grip consists of a handle wrapped in red leather, a short, slightly curved guard, and a generously sized five-lobed pommel. The bronze guard and pommel are engraved with the same patterns and motifs that adorn the original find.
