Medieval Birga blouse with 3/4 sleeves, black

This versatile blouse has a small frill at the neckline. The broken neck is closed at the front with a ribbon loop. The sleeves are 3/4 length long and gathered with a tie. Small slits in the side seams allow for better freedom of movement.

The blouse is made of lightweight cotton fabric and is very comfortable in fit.

This is the modern version of the hammer "Mjölnir" of the Norse god "Thor" known from various myths and movies.

In Norse mythology, Thor or Donar is the God of Clouds, Thunder, and Fertility and, like all the other Aesir, died during Ragnarök. Only Odin was above him and more feared. He was the son of Aesir Odin and the human Jörd, and thus the blood of Asgard and Midgard flows through him. Thor's kingdom in Asgard is called Thrudvangr. There he lived with his wife Sif in the largest palace in Asgard, "Bilskirnir".

Thor's most famous weapon was his divine hammer "Mjölnir", which was the source of his power. He also possessed the "Megingjörð" belt which further increased his power. His trademark, however, was the thunder that announced his arrival when he used his goat carriage. There are many legends about his heroic deeds, such as his first fight against the Midgard Serpent, his rivalry with the frost giants, or how he and Loki used a trick to retrieve their stolen hammer Mjölnir from Trym the giant.

Like everyone Aesir Thor met his end during Ragnarök, the Fate of the Gods. He fought the Midgard Serpent and won, but then fell for its poison which eventually killed him.

Axes were important tools and weapons in the everyday life of the Vikings. They were used to cut down trees, work wood or in battle. The Axe heads were made of different materials, such as stone, bone, or metal, and had different shapes and sizes depending on the purpose. Many Viking axes were elaborately adorned and served not only as practical tools, but also as status symbols. Today, Viking axes are popular collector's items and often used in movies, TV series, and video games to convey the image of the wild and fearless Vikings.

In terms of shape, the head of the Viking axe we offer here is classified as Petersen type A. The blade of this axe is made of EN45 high carbon steel and engraved with a Nordic motif. The handle is made of sturdy ash wood and wrapped in leather.

Note that this medieval axe is not a battle-ready weapon. It was designed primarily as a collector's piece or decoration/display and is in no way suitable for combat reenactment.
