This loose-cut medieval dress is a floor-length dress with so-called buds on the sides. Gores, wedge-shaped/triangular pieces of fabric added to expand the shape of a garment, gave the medieval clothes a generous glow. The puckered neckline is based on an archaeological textile fragment found in Pskov, Russia, and believed to have belonged to a tenth-century Viking dress. It has front slit and closure by lashing. The cuffs are also equipped with loops to create puckered sleeves.
The dress is made of plain cotton fabric and can be worn as a sweater or as an outer garment. The white and natural color models are slightly transparent against light.
When combined with a cap and an apron or overcoat, this dress is, for example, ideal to represent a maid.
