This calf-length tabard is perfect and complete for the cotton fabric (canvas) festival. The body part is cut straight to the waist and wide and slit at the skirt part. The checkerboard-shaped color division (MiParti) and the applied paw crosses give this weapon outfit its individual look.
The tabard (as above all, tappert or surcot) appeared in the twelfth century and was worn by knights over armour or chain armour. It protected the user from sunlight on the battlefield and the different color combinations made it clear in the middle of battle who was an enemy and who was a friend. Tabards were used by many crusaders to identify themselves as crusaders.
There are numerous depictions of medieval robes, for example in the Maciejowski Bible (also Crusader Bible), a medieval illustrated Bible from the thirteenth century, and in the Codex Manesse, a song manuscript from the early fourteenth century.
The simple and straight cut is typical of the tunic. To give the waist to the tunic, we recommend combining it with a leather belt.

This is the modern version of the hammer "Mjölnir" of the Norse god "Thor" known in various myths and movies.
In Norse mythology, Thor or Donar is the God of Clouds, Thunder, and Fertility, and like all the other Aesir, he died during Ragnarök. Only Odin was above him and more feared. He was the son of Aesir Odin and the human Jörd, and thus the blood of Asgard and Midgard flows through him. Thor's kingdom in Asgard is called Thrudvangr. There he lived with his wife Sif in the largest palace in Asgard, "Bilskirnir".
Thor's most famous weapon was his divine hammer "Mjölnir", which was the source of his power. He also possessed the "Megingjörð" belt which further increased his power. His trademark, though, was the thunder that heralded his arrival when he used his goat-laden carriage. There are many legends about his heroic deeds, such as his first fight against the Midgard Serpent, his rivalry with the frost giants, or how he and Loki used a trick to retrieve his stolen hammer, Mjölnir, from Trym the giant.
Like all Aesir, Thor met his end during Ragnarök, the Fate of the Gods. He fought the Midgard Serpent and won, but then fell into its venom which eventually killed him.
The inscription on the round plaque translates as: "He who wields this hammer commands lightning and storm."
This new version of the Thor hammer is ready for use and is particularly heavy. This hammer is not a decorative product.

This hood is made of a lightweight cotton fabric. A hidden elastic ensures a good fit and creates a beautiful ruffle at the hem.
In the Middle Ages and early modern times, the cap was the helmet of married women, while single women could leave their heads uncovered. The saying "Get under the hood" is derived from this custom. Even today, hats are an integral part of European costumes.
In addition, the hood also had a practical use - to protect the hair from dirt, for example. B. at home or at work.

Bevor Gothic, Steel
1.2 mm This wearable reconstruction of a late medieval plate armor for the throat and chin is made of 1.2 mm steel (18 gauge) and blackened on this interior for better corrosion resistance.
The bevor (or beaver) shows the typical multi-layered appearance of Gothic plate armor from the late Middle Ages (15th/16th century). It consists of three parts – a gorget and a chin piece that are fixedly riveted to each other and a top sliding plate or lame for additional face protection. The top plate is hinged into rivets and can be raised or lowered. When upwards, it reaches below the eyes. It is reinforced at the top edge and has a row of round cutouts that ensure proper ventilation. On the right side of the chin section, a small retractable pin holds the folding thigh firmly in position when folded.
The bevor is open at the back (without neck plate) and equipped with a riveted leather strap approx. 2 mm thick and a brass buckle. The strap is adjustable in size to ensure a comfortable and personalized fit.
This collar is ideal for late medieval and Renaissance environments. Equally suitable for the portrayal of a wide range of historical figures and fictional/fantasy characters, it will make your transformation into a proud and noble knight or warrior perfect, whether used for medieval reenactment, LARP, stage, TV/film, fantasy or cosplay.
