Functional medieval dagger made of 1055 carbon steel blade and leather covered handle. Includes leather-covered wooden sheath with metallic finishes.
This beautiful knight's dagger is the weapon that comes with our Militia Templi sword (Product No. 0116703718), but also a beautiful freestanding blade that can be carried separately.
The Knight Templar's dagger features a double-edged blade with long, fuller, and unsharp edges. The cross guard and blade are engraved with Templar crosses. The leather-wrapped black wooden handle ends in a sturdy disc-shaped pommel, adorned with background crosses (clover).
The Templar dagger comes complete with a black wooden and leather scabbard with a steel throat and a cape with brass decorations.
Note that this dagger is not a battle-ready weapon. It is designed as a collector's item or as a decoration/display and is not suitable for combat reenactment. In addition to its quality as a collectible, it is also perfectly suitable as a prop, for example, to complete your costume.

The steel used here is not rust-proof and may have slight surface stains in places. We recommend that you maintain the blade regularly, for example by using Ballistol Universal Oil, which is ideal for caring for steel.
Rondel Dagger
A rondel was a type of hard-bladed dagger in Europe in the late Middle Ages (from the 14th century onwards), used by a variety of people, from merchants to knights. It was used on the waist and could be used as a utility tool, or used in battles or fair tournaments as a side arm.

Medieval daggers of this type were mainly used as a secondary weapon by soldiers and archers recruited.
Around the fifteenth century
This mercenary dagger from the Battle of Bramham Moor was named after the final battle of Percy's Rebellion of 1402-1408, which pitted Henry Percy, 1st Earl of Northumberland against the usurper King of England, Henry IV. The Battle of Bramham Moor was fought in the snow on a cold 19th February: Northumberland was defeated and the Earl himself died fighting in a furious rearguard as his army was defeated. The power of the Percy family, although a branch of descendants came to prominence during the Wars of the Roses.
This long dagger has an unpolished stained wooden handle and low-gloss matte brass fittings.
Includes matching brown leather sheath decorated with throat and matte, non-gloss brass end cap. Around the neck, it has a belt hook decorated with a finely detailed roaring lion head, fit for a nobleman.

The blade of our battle-ready replica is forged from spring steel and passes to the button, where it is screwed invisible. The handle is seldonted in leather and braided wire. The dagger has a huge crosshead and a malleable cast iron ctogonal pommelon. The blade is hardened to about 48 HRC in oil. The edge of the blade is not sharp. The dagger has a deep and quite long groove. The top is rounded and includes a wooden sheath with Ortobech and leather.

This beautiful late medieval dagger has a spring steel blade that is fully tainted and riveted in the handle. The elegant steel cross-protection bends smoothly in the direction of the blade and features a so-called ecusson (a Cusp or V-shaped bulge in the center). The all-metal handle is smothered in leather in its upper half and covered with a sturdy disc-shaped steel apple (or wheel pommel). Delivery includes a leather hem with belt clip.
