Covers were an integral part of clothing throughout the Middle Ages and were worn by all classes. They came with and without a hood and in different lengths and cuts. The cover protected and heated in adverse weather conditions. If the cape did not offer sufficient protection, a hood was worn over it.
Like the unisex cover, the wheel cover or the paper filter are authentic, practical and divided everywhere. The slits serve as armholes and increase comfort. The cover fastens with a wooden button. Contrasting details give the cover a special look.
The cotton fabric is not water-repellent, but it can be treated with a waterproofing spray to repel light rain.
Note: Only the cover is sold here! The other items are available separately in our online shop.
