Dark Warrior upper leg (or tassets) protection helps protect the thighs and groin from sword blows and other impacts. Two sets of steel plates protect the hips and the outside of the thighs, a third set of smaller plates protects the groin and parts of the inner thighs. They are made of 1 mm thick steel without sharp edges and are therefore safe for LARP weapons . It is worn with a leather belt and additionally on the shoulders with belt suspenders.
