Norman spangenhelmet, 1.6 mm steel
Reconstruction of a Spangenhelmet with nasal, as it was popular with Vikings and Normans during the 10th and 11th centuries. The long nasal is handmade approx. Strong 4 mm steel to withstand even the strongest blows. It's riveted in the hubcap.
Both halves are welded together. In addition, four strap accessories (Spangen) are riveted to the helmet to strengthen it. This manufacture ensures high robustness and good protection in battle.
The helmet has a riveted, adjustable, high-class padded lining with solid leather chin strap and a brass buckle.
