Angus Trim developed this type of HEMA training sword (he called the profile design "I-Beam") to solve two problems: conical blades with thin edges that were quickly damaged and thick blades that looked like crow's feet.
The solid central fuller allows for more metal on the edge, keeping the sword alive in hand.
These lower arm guards are made of steel. The central spine and folded edges allow for a low steel thickness of only 1.2 mm. There are two sturdy leather straps with buckles riveted into the steel and allow for individual size adjustment. The color of the leather may vary.
Sold as a pair.

Churburg Armor - Polished
This breastplate or battleship is modeled after pieces from churburg's collection in South Tyrol, whose pieces have been produced over the centuries by gunsmiths from Milan or Innsbruck, whose style is reflected here.
The front covers the chest, the space around the neck and arms allows a padded underwear like a Gambeson and other pieces of armor to be easily combined. The lower part involves the stomach and kidneys. With crossed straps behind the back and attached to the armor itself, everything is kept in position.

- Material: 1 mm steel
- Weight: approx. 3 kg

Gothic Flirts, Shoulder Protectors, 1.2mm Steel, Pair
This wearable reconstruction of a late medieval plate armor for the shoulders is made of 1.2 mm (18 gauge) steel. The jambs (sometimes spelled pouldrons or powldrons) show the typical multi-layered appearance of Gothic plate armor from the late Middle Ages (15th/16th century). They consist of five parts – a dome-shaped or policeman-shaped shoulder piece, an upper or thigh sliding plate, and three lower thighs, all connected by sturdy rivets on the inside.
Each shoulder pad is equipped with an approximately 2 mm thick adjustable leather strap with brass buckle for a comfortable and personalized arm-length fit. The buckle positioned on the top edge allows for proper attachment to other pieces of plate armor (a gorget, a bevor, a breastplate - for example, our item no. 1016633700) or a gambeson.
The edges of the backrests are adorned with grooves and small steel rivets, and the inside of the armor is blackened for better corrosion resistance.
This shoulder armor is ideal for late medieval and Renaissance environments. Equally suitable for the portrayal of a wide range of historical figures and fictional/fantasy characters, it will make your transformation into a proud and noble knight or warrior perfect, whether used for medieval reenactment, LARP, stage, TV/film, fantasy or cosplay.
Shoulder pads are sold as a pair.
Details:
- Material: 1.2mm (18 ga) steel plate, brown leather straps, buckles
aged brass - Total length: approx. 34 cm
- Shoulder width: approx. 23 cm
- Arm width: approx. 14 cm
- Weight (pair): approx. 1.9 kg
Specifications may vary slightly from part to part.
Delivery includes only the shoulder pads! The other armor pieces pictured above are available separately in our online shop.
Observation:
To ensure this armor is right for you, remember to take your measurements over your gambeson and/or any piece of clothing or chainmail you plan to wear underneath!
The steel used here is not rust-proof and may have slight surface stains in places. We recommend that you maintain plate armor regularly, for example by using the universal Ballistol oil, which is ideal for steel care.
420 steel blade with 47 cm, black braided rope handle and nylon hem
Claymore is a sharp two-sided blade that required both hands to be wielded. Its long grip (at least a quarter of the weapon's total) allowed the user to sustain it without having to force the maneuvers, nor grab it from the base of the blade. Used in foot combat, designed to effectively attack plate armor and overlapping mesh dimensions. They were used and developed by the Scottish Highlanders, of models of shorter swords. In the 13th century, these swords were wielded by the Scots in the fight against the English invader.

Zaza is the Japanese word for bamboo. Because of its straight shape and its fresh green color, it is the symbol of growth and purity. In Japanese culture it is also known as a symbol of fortune.
The lightweight, well-balanced blade is forged in 420 stainless steel without being sharpened. The handle is wrapped in black cotton complete with original streak skin in traditional style. The decorations in the sword (Tsuba, Fuchi, Kashira, Menuki) show bamboo themes. The highly polished black sheath is also decorated with golden bamboo leaves and tied with high-class bicolor Sageo. The ends of the sheath are made of the best buffalo horn.
Sgian Dubh knife with Damascus steel blade and sheath
"Sgian Dubh" is a small Hand-forged Scottish dagger with a decorated ebony handle. This traditional blade, also called a "sock dagger", is loaded into the right sock so that only the top of the cable can be seen. It was originally used for ceremonial purposes. The Sgian Dubh was part of the basic equipment of every Highland Scotsman since the 18th century.
