Pugio de Vindonissa with silver inlays This beautiful, richly ornamented replica of a Roman dagger is an example of great craftsmanship. Both the riveted cable and the front cover of the sheath feature a very elaborate silver inlay. The wooden sheath is covered in leather, with four characteristic riveted brass suspension rings for proper attachment to the belt. The blade has a total of four narrow fullers tapering toward the tip. The edges are not sharp. Our reproduction follows the model of an archaeological find from the Roman legionary camp of Vindonissa, now Windisch, Switzerland. The apple displays a trident, symbol of Neptune, the Roman god of the sea. This may suggest that this Pugio was originally created for an officer in the Roman naval forces.

Usually made from cattle or goat horn and used as a drinking vessel in many cultures at different time periods, the drinking horn had great significance, especially for ceremonies. It continued in service until the early modern period, especially throughout Germanic Europe. A particularly popular drinking container during the early Middle Ages in Scandinavia, it was mentioned in both the Prose Edda and the Poetic Edda. Although horn fragments from the Viking Age are rarely recovered in archaeological excavations, the number of preserved metal horn fittings leads to the assumption that their use was much more widespread than actual horn finds indicate.

This Viking horn is handmade in horn, polished, and adorned with a carved motif of two intertwined ravens. In Norse mythology, the two ravens Hugin and Munin (or As the horn is an organic product, natural variations in color, shape, size, weight, and volume are expected.

Cold Steels Flower Katana features a stylized floral design on its silver/nickel Tsuba and Kashira. It has a forged blade in 1060 carbon steel bent with convex sharpening. The edge of the blade has received a differentially hardened heat treatment to create a distinctive Japanese-style clay-tempered Ripple.

The attractive wooden handle is tightly wrapped in black silk cord and includes the traditional Menuki and Samé (Ray Skin) stand. The included black lacquered Saya (sheath) is made of hardwood and is finished with traditional Japanese-style silver/nickel fittings.
